  • Gutter Clean Outs?
I am giving a quote on a condo complex. I measured all the gutters. One building has about 1500 linear feet of gutter and the other building has about 2000 linear feet both of which are 2 stories up. I don't know how to price this amount of gutter. When I price residential I price it at .25 a linear foot for a 2 story building and have no problem getting that. I've never quoted this big of a job any help would be great. Thanks Attila

  • 200 gallon PCO
Grime scene pro's, I have a brand new 200 gallon PCO with 8" manway tank for sale or trade for another smaller tank (50 to 100 gallon). I purchased this on 1-21-10 from National Tank Outlet and found out it is too big for the configuation on my trailer. I would like to have a 50 gallon tank with no bulkhead fittings on the bottom so I can use it for roof wash. Here's a couple of pictures and my e-mail to contact me. Thanks, Mark This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

  • I compromised my standards today!
As a new business owner (not new to the business) I've set certain standards for my company and have always enjoyed reading about other owner's ideas here too. One of my principles was to never compromise quality, do only whole jobs (none of those spot cleanings), etc. Well I has a call last week on the largest building I have ever had the opportunity to work on. The GM did not want a total cleaning, but merely a spot treatment. Begrudgingly I submitted a bid, since I really need the work. The area he wanted cleaned is the grey stucco band on the second floor and below to the ground on only one side of the building. I compromised my standards, broke my "no spot cleaning rule" and got the bid. Before I was even halfway done the GM booked the following other jobs with me, beginning next week: 1) Wash 10,000 SQF of pavers and sidewalks on the street frontage MONTHLY, 2) wash the roof, 3) wash the whole building since the two floors I did look so good it makes the rest of the building look unclean now. Sometimes it pays to compromise, or at least adjust our positions! Today, I'm very thankful I did.
